A cardiologist tech, also referred to as a cardiology tech or a cardiovascular tech, is a technician or technologist trained to perform both invasive and noninvasive tests used to diagnose and treat heart disease.

Students participate in hands-on clinical experiences as well as in-class lectures

Prior to getting into cardiologist tech courses, students are often required to take a medical terminology class first. In this course instructors will go through some of the most commonly used terms and abbreviations.
